Why does my microwave make a loud humming or buzzing noise?
A loud hum often points to a failing magnetron or a faulty high-voltage transformer. A grinding noise may indicate a worn-out cooling fan motor. While some low hum is normal, new or significantly louder noises suggest a component is failing and should be inspected to prevent a complete breakdown or safety issue.
The oven door won't seal properly or the glass is cracked. Is this a safety issue?
